Best chowder I've ever had... and I know my chowders... such a vibe feels like your walking on to a dock the workers are friendly and funny. Had some really good fried fish and chips. Great atmosphere and prices definitely a must do when in the area!!! Thank you for awesome food and service!
Very good and fresh fish & chips! Super friendly staff and great prices too! Lots of tables to sit at outside and some are covered as well. Will be back for sure!
Tim and I came here on our motorcycle ride up the coast and I'm glad we did. It was a bit hard to find as its quite a ways back from the street but once we did it was great. I got the popcorn shrimp that came with fries. The basket of shrimp was large with lots of perfectly cooked shrimp with great batter on them. The fries were good but the best part was the shrimp. Next time I'm up this was I'll have to stop in. Highly recommended
We were in the area staying with friends for the weekend and they suggested this place. We remembered not having the best experience a couple years ago, but thought we'd give them another try. We were glad we did! We ordered a 3 piece halibut fish and chips and a medium clam chowder. Total was $32. Pretty standard pricing. The fish was cooked perfectly and breading was light. It also came with coleslaw and tartar sauce. The chowder came with saltine crackers. There chowder is nice and thick, which I prefer. It had nice flavor and a decent amount of clams. Service was prompt and friendly this visit. There are picnic tables outside for seating. There's no seating inside as the place is pretty small. Street parking only.
It was intriguing to see a group come out with a bag of food in each hand. So we decided to try them out. We were greatly surprised with the crew there. They take so much pride in their food and I will say that it's well deserved. The clam chowder, crab cake, halibut and rock fish were delicious. To top it off, even the coleslaw had the right balance of mayo and vinegar/lemon juice. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back!
